Registration of signatures of Swiss descendants, to support the petition to change the current restrictive Swiss citizenship law, to one that allows descendants access to our homeland.
## IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear members of the groups,
We are writing to you on behalf of the Administrative Council of Swiss Descendants for Nationality to communicate with great seriousness and care "the current status of the Petition in Parliament."
The petition has been submitted to Parliament and has already been assigned a file number: 24.2025. You can check its status directly on the Parliament's platform.
At this moment, the petition is in the Parliamentary Secretariat of the Commission. It will later be forwarded to the appropriate Commission, where various legislators will analyze its validity and importance. If the analysis is favorable, the petition will proceed to a vote in one of the two chambers: the Council of States or the National Council, before moving on to its final vote.
We remain at your disposal for any questions or inquiries you may have regarding the petition. We appreciate your interest in this important matter.
